Ice

Cold water quiets a room. I can't explain why it works; it works.

This one is ice and open water. No horizon to chase, nothing in it asking for your attention. You look at it and your shoulders drop half an inch. That's the entire job.

It belongs in a room that's already loud. A bedroom that should be colder and calmer than the rest of the house. A bathroom wall nobody has looked at in two years.

Open edition print, packed and shipped by me. The 8x10 sits on a shelf or a desk; the 18x24 and 20x30 carry a wall on their own.
